The remodeled rooms impressed us, but the dampness made our stay uncomfortable.

Convenient location near local attractions.
I was extremely frustrated with the noise coming from the neighbors. They played music at 3:00 AM, and despite my complaints, management did nothing to resolve the issue. Additionally, the room itself was uncomfortable, with doors that slammed shut and a lack of soundproofing. it felt like a rock concert in my room.

I had a great stay here as it was so close to Witchduck Lake, just about 3 km away, perfect for leisurely walks, and the staff was incredibly professional and kind, making my experience even better.

The staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel at home, though the cleanliness left much to be desired. The room had kitchen amenities, which was a plus, but I found some maintenance issues that could be addressed. Overall, it was a decent option for a quick stay.

Comfortable Stay with Helpful Staff
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely 2-night escape. The front desk staff were amazing, and we appreciated the cozy queen studio with all essential amenities. Suggest trying nearby restaurants for great local flavor. Just be aware of potential noise from neighbors!

The absolute BEST part was how cozy the bed felt! 😊 Although the surrounding areas could use a cleanup, the room's cleanliness inside made for a comfortable stay.

I enjoyed my stay, especially for its quietness and cozy room. It's conveniently located just 15-20 minutes from various beaches. But a coffee pot would have been a nice touch. For a relaxing getaway, this spot is worth another visit!

missingWrote a review on Jun 08crispy grilled cheesefriendly stafflate-night convenienceunexpected chargesketchy room
Y'all, I found my slice of heaven at Gourmet Gang with their crispy, melty grilled cheese that totally hit the spot. Not to mention, the friendly staff gave me some serious hospitality vibes. they were a highlight of my stay. Plus, I loved the convenience of having a McDonald's right down the road for those late-night cravings!
On the flip side, getting hit with an unexpected charge made me raise an eyebrow. My room kinda felt like a sketchy horror movie set — a door that probably had its fair share of break-ins and a bathroom that needed major TLC. It's a shame the vibes at this spot didn't match the coastal charm of Virginia Beach.

would book here again
The room had a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and kitchenware. There was a flat-screen TV, desk, and a comfy bed. Air conditioning worked well, but the room felt a bit dated. The location was handy, close to shops and restaurants.

missingWrote a review on Jun 01functional kitchendecent roomnoisy ac
The room size is decent, providing a functional work area and kitchen amenities if you’re looking to whip up a meal. Plus, the location is quite convenient, with easy access to local spots.
However, the absence of an elevator can be a hassle for those with mobility issues, especially if you're on a higher floor. I experienced some discomfort with the dampness. both the chair and bedspread felt moist, which wasn’t ideal for lounging. The A/C unit was noisy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep, and there were complaints about cleanliness, especially under the bed. It's also worth noting the housekeeping policy. only every 14 days leaves some guests feeling a bit neglected when staying shorter terms. Lastly, I noticed some strange noises from outside, which can be unsettling.
